Ann brings more than thirty years of experience in education, having worked across mainstream, SEND, alternative and outdoor education settings with children and young people of different ages, abilities and needs.

Throughout her career, Ann has been closely involved in developing and delivering personalised learning programmes, with a strong belief that effective education should respond to the individual rather than expecting every learner to follow the same pathway. She has extensive experience of designing and writing curricula for both primary and secondary-aged learners, adapting learning around individual starting points, strengths, interests and needs. Her approach focuses on making education purposeful, accessible and engaging while helping young people develop confidence, independence and a genuine sense of achievement.

Ann also brings a strong performing arts background to her work. She has performed on stage at Covent Garden and has worked as a soloist at events and weddings. Her experience as a performer has given her a particular appreciation of the role creativity, music and performance can play in developing communication, confidence, self-expression and emotional wellbeing.

Her educational experience extends well beyond the traditional classroom. As an instructor in outdoor education activities, Ann has used practical and experiential learning to help young people develop resilience, teamwork, problem-solving skills, independence and self-belief. She understands that some learners thrive when they are given opportunities to learn through doing, exploring and experiencing the world around them.

At Brightfield Academy, Ann draws together more than three decades of teaching and curriculum expertise with her experience of SEND, personalised education, performing arts and outdoor learning. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and is committed to creating meaningful educational experiences that recognise the whole young person, build upon their individual strengths and interests, and provide opportunities for every learner to grow in confidence, develop new skills and achieve their potential.

With a background in managing maintenance, safety and development of a prestigious hotel chain for which he won an accolade in a London event, there isn't a safer or more skilled pair of hands to help Brightfield's premises thrive than Andy. 

Dedicated, hard-working and meticulous, Andy is professional but always approachable and an valued asset to the team.

Andy has been a successful football coach for some time, encouraging and supporting young players to achieve their potential. 

Danielle brings extensive experience in recruitment, business development, account management and operational coordination, with a strong professional background in the healthcare sector. Her skillset includes compliance, recruitment, relationship management, contract coordination and financial administration. Highly organised, solutions-focused and adaptable, Danielle’s key strengths lie in communication, problem-solving and building strong relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

She supports the smooth day-to-day running of Brightfield while helping to develop robust processes and systems as the organisation grows. As a parent herself, Danielle is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to thrive in environments that recognise their individual needs, strengths and potential, while offering alternative pathways to success.

Outside of her professional life, Danielle has a longstanding passion for music and singing and has experience performing, giving her a personal appreciation for creativity, self-expression and the confidence that the arts can inspire in young people.
